Hello all,
I have a question and am looking for an informed answer - naturally I come to this forum...
I have recently purchased a pvr 721 system in addition to my pvr 501 that I got a few years ago. I have a dual LNBF right now. I am looking to buy a Quad, but I want to make sure I get the right thing for current and future product lines. I'm checking out the Quad LNBF's on-line and I have found two different types - a "Dish Pro" and a "Legacy". I guess the "Dish Pro" only works with the newer model receivers (like the 721 and the 501 that I have) and the "Legacy" may or may not work - there are conflicting opinions on this...
Anyway, could someone shed some light on the differences here? I need 3 lines - 2 for the 721 and one for the 501. I have regular programming and locals (No HDTV or international stuff). I have a Dish 500 dish. Will any quad do? Or do I need a particular one?
Sorry if this is a "newbie" question, but I want to make sure I spend my money on the right thing.
Thanks,
