I hope everybody is enjoying the free Starz Week-end.
I am recording several movies. I used to subscribe to Starz. I kind of miss the Western channel.

I just wish they opened up the on Demand side of things to really build up a library on my 1TB external drive. Oh well...

Blah.
Just went through the guide for the whole weekend and the only thing I found to record was Cars, just so it could be on the kids DVR and I won't need to put in the DVD all the time.
I checked the entire schedule and did not find 1 thing I wanted to watch or record.

I think the Starz/Encore channels are the best movie channels. If I could only have one package, that is the one I would choose.

I agree. Right now I'm recording the greatest ensemble super hero movie ever... Mystery Men. :hurah: Now that's good stuff.

I just saw that Next is on there (and I set my HR20 and 21 to record). Can you tell me, will I have to watch the recording while the preview is going on? Will it be unauthorized on Monday morning?

No, you don't have to watch the recording now. I stil have John Adams from the free HBO a few weeks ago and just watched one yesterday. So you should be fine.

Out of this, I got: Next, Bridge to Terribethia, The Holiday, Deja Vu...
Got to say, this has been the best freeview I have come across! Makes me wish I had Starz (which is the point). I only have HBO as we wait for Trueblood to finally arrive. Whenever that ends, I think we will switch to Starz. (I would choose Showtime first, just because of Dexter, but I just buy the DVD's anyway, so there is no reason for Showtime for me).
