I tried installing a wb68 tonight. I have the need for 6 tuners. I have been using 2 dvr's with only one tuner but recently ran another rg6 to both so now I have two RG6 runs to each of my three dvr's. Everything worked perfect when I was only using four connections straight from the satellite. 2 to the great room dvr, 1 to the master dvr and 1 to the downstairs dvr. Now that I have the ability to use both tuners on the dvr to my master and downstairs I bought a wb68.

I connected the 4 lines from the satellite to the 4 inputs. I then connected my 6 outputs to 6 of the 8 outputs. I ran guided setup on the great room dvr first as suggested in the wb68 insturctions (it said one at a time for multiple recievers). I could not get a signal for 119 or 103s. I decided to rty my master and it is a Tivo dvr. It said could not detect left side of 119. I haven't tried downstairs yet or bypassing the switch and hooking everything up directly again and going without 2 tuners.

If anyone knows what I may have done wrong please let me know. I'd really like to get two tuners to my master and downstairs dvr's.

I am fairly certain the wb68 is the right multiswitch to use but am curious why it failed to work...any insight is welcome...

How do I do that? The instructions say the 4 lines from the satellite can go to any of the 4 inputs?

You just need to connect the 4 lines to the 4 inputs to the left. It does not matter what line goes to what input.

That's exactly what I did and what the instructions indicated...the two to the right are flex ports for intl prgramming. Any ideas why 119 could not be detected? I have had absolutely no signal loss probelms at all....high 90's. now with the switch the 119 can't be found

yep.. you shouldn't have any lines on the ones marked "flex port 1/2"

I know no lines need to go to the 2 far right ports. Does any have any suggestions on what could be wrong?

Could be bad connectors or coax between dish and multiswitch, or between multiswitch and receivers.

If you put your own connectors on, then that would be the first place I would start troubleshooting. Make sure you have good connections, and make sure you didn't short a wire from the shield braid to the center conductor (easy to do).

My mistake, I keep thinking of my old Sonora.

I checked my connections and that was it....There was a tiny braid shield touching the conductor. I'm surprised it would not get a signal at all. With cable the picture would be fuzzy if any of those were touching the conductor. I was expecting the same thing so that's why I thought it was something else. Thanks for the tip...

If you have any connector where braiding or shielding is loose and can come in contact with center conductor, you should really replace those. You'll be happier with less problems in the long run. Use compression connectors and not the old crimp on style connectors.
