i see stuff like this once in a while, but this one just kinda really tweaked me brian. so, my 5 1/2 nephew is over and we're watching spongebob on nick. and, a commercial comes on for countrywide. countrywide? really? during kiddie time? a lot of kids refinancing these days?
okay, maybe their rationale is that parents are watching with their kids. well, i have to disagree with their rationale. we're trying to keep our kids occupied for bit so we can clean or cook or maybe just enjoy spongebob with our little ones. save your adult pitches for primetime, or the biography channel. we want shiny objects!
I feel the same way about tampon/douche commercials during the NFL games!

Who says only 5 year olds watch Spounge Bob. I know of a few adults with no kids that watch Spounge Bob.

I feel the same way about tampon/douche commercials during the NFL games!
Us womenfolk watch football too... by choice! Although I prefer the subway commercials to those uncomfortable moments when you're the only girl in the room and a bunch of guys get quiet when they hear all about the "comfort grip". I'm used to the comments on the hot girls in the beer commercials, but dont get so many comments on the women who feel "not so fresh". :lol:

Yea but cmon seriously...are you ever walking on a beach with your mom asking those questions.....talk about weird moment, how is a guy supposed to handle that?

I record Dora and Diego for my daughter and the show runs for 22 minutes straight, but then they show 8 minutes of commercials after that. They are always geared more towards the moms than the kids. Unless the kid is planning on using the new Windex or Mr Clean product.

I was flipping channels the other Saturday and saw a morning cartoon (they actually still have a few cartoons on the networks) and stopped because I said to myself 'what the heck is that?' in response to seeing some modern cartoon that was nothing like what we grew up watching on Saturdays. Then, a Viagra commercial came on. Then I thought to myself, are there a lot of 4 year olds with ED?
