I have noticed a pixelation issue that I am having. It seems as though it only happens on certain channels. I know for sure it happens on FOX frequently and I noticed it on NBC the other night also. I haven't seen it on any other channels that I record.
During the program the picture will start to pixelate and get steadily worse until the whole picture is just weird pixels. After a few minutes it completely goes away. The audio is never affected. It is sporadic and doesn't happen all the time. I'd say I've noticed it two to four times a week.
I just checked to see if I kept any episodes that were affected but I already deleted them. Next time it happens I will take a few pictures and post them. While doing a search for anyone else having this issue I came across a post that has pictures on the D* HR20 forum that is similar. It is the first post in the following thread: http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?t=125609&highlight=pixelation
Since it is only happening on certain channels I assume it is satellite or dish related. Since I know it happens on FOX frequently, what should I check for as far as signal strength, etc.
