OpenTV Corp. and ACTV said they amended their previously announced merger agreement to extend the date after which either party may unilaterally elect to terminate the transaction up until June 30. The merger is now anticipated to occur in the second quarter of 2003. While both companies are disappointed in the delay of the merger, both companies said they remain committed to completing the transaction as soon as possible pursuant to terms of the agreement.
