Well, apparently there was a storm here last night.

I flew into town this afternoon and went to watch some shows from last night.

ALL of them have nothing but the local news doing weather.

Survivor
The Office
My Name is Earl
Scrubs

All nothing but doppler radar and talking heads.

That sucks. I can't believe they'd show weather coverage the whole time. Why not just a scroll on the bottom?

Does anyone know if they have plans to show these shows another time?

Don't ask me why, since I don't live in Texas...but I happen to have read on another forum that they're reairing the NBC shows late tonight. 2:07 A.M., I believe, is the start time for the block. You might want to check the station's web site to make sure.

Yep, you're right trainman, thanks.

I had looked in the guide to see if they were going to replay them tonight, but didn't see anything. Checking their website, however, does show that they'll show them starting at 2:04am.

the local CBS station shows no mention of doing the same. Would have liked to have watched Survivor too, but I guess not.

PS. Good to see you Jim

I live in Texas and the local news pointed out that the affected shows (all but Survivor) are available online at hulu.com. We hooked our laptop up to our HDTV and watched Earl and The Office last night. Hope this helps.

It was ridiculous...every channel was showing weather. CBS was even multi casting on 21. I watched Earl, Office, & Survivor online.

Yeah, I knew I could get them online, but that's a hassle. I don't like watching things on the computer and don't have a DVI - HDMI cable to hook the laptop up to the TV.

Oh well, watched everything today except for Survivor. Since I've already found out what happened, there's no point in watching it now.

We noticed this too. We still need to catch up with Earl and Office online. Maybe we'll do that tonight.
