Help with setting up HR21-100 Media Share

Running oxo221 software.
Tech replaced my HR21-700 for lock ups. Replaced with a HR21-100. I had media share with the HR21-700
My computers see the HR21 DVR but I have no Menu Screen on the Directv menu.
Am I missing something?

Have you rebooted since you got it on the network? First thing I'd try is to reboot the HR21. I just did this at a friend's house this weekend. Had to reboot the HR20 (in his case) after getting it on the network.

Yes, tried several times.
On-Demand works fine, d/l a few shows.
I think it has to do with a conflict with my computers. My laptop sees 2 DVR's on the network and I only have 1.

Did you try power cycling your router and computer?

I had a similar issue with my HR21-700. Try temporarily disabling your firewall. Media share should then be visable on the receiver's menu.
