Hello

I've always been a customer of Dish and never have used DirecTV, but every now and then I like to look at the DirecTV recievers and check out their features.

I've noticed in many pictures of the "screen shots" of most DirecTV receivers that the guides and channel banner displays use the channels' Logo (making the channels easier to find) ..it also appears in the brief banner display that appears when a customer changes channel will show the channel logo and name instead of just an abbreviation and channel number.

Dish's guide seems relatively boring and harder to use in comparison to this ..would it be possible for them to "revamp" the standard guide to look a bit more user freindly?  Those stupid abbreviations they use sometimes make it harder to find the channel.

Wondering

If you are used to DISH the RCA and SONY guides may be hard to adjust to. I liked HUGHES guides especially their logo guide colorful and easy to use. You should visit several showrooms and play with the different guides.
