I stopped paying for premium channels. I've decided that the money is better spent buying DVD's.

The Chris Issac Show
Soul Food
Jeremiah
QAF
Odessy 5
and most importantly
the Sundance Channel
That's why Showtime stays.
HBO stays for
Sex in the City
Six Feet Under
Real Time with Bill Maher
The Sopranos
I'd gladly get rid of every damn shopping channel, 2/3 of the sports channels and every last religious channel

You dont have to sub to Showtime to get Sundance...I have both Sundance and IFC and I just sub to HBO. On the other hand as HBO has pulled off a real boner and got Bill Maher now. I might just drop them as well. Also I feel that they should drop the shopping and religious channels.....But DONT screw with my sports packs...:D

Odessy 5 was cancelled I heard, but Christ Isaak was renewed for a 3rd season, but they have not announce when it is coming back.

I dropped Showtime 6 months ago because I figured out that subscribing to Netflix and Showtime don't mix. I would see movies from Netflix months before they appear on Showtime AND HBO for that matter.

Isnt Netflix or another online DVD renter going out of business?

There is a new Penn & Teller show on Showtime that is actually interesting to watch. They basically skewer various people in desperate need of it (end of the world survivalist wackos, secondhand smoke nazis, etc.). I've added it to my PVR timer list.
I don't even watch it when the free preview is on!

I like the Penn&Teller show, and the new "reality" show Family Business, Mom, Son and Cousin run porn movie making business (premiered after the tyson fight).

Penn and Teller was funny with the "Baby Experts". Loved the part where the parents wore the Diapers so baby would not feel left out :D
