Where is it?

I called the E* CSR in hopes of an answer to my question but it didn't help me any.

I was looking for the HD listing on the program guide for tonight's game between the Chicago Cubs and the Colorado Rockies, at 7:30 pm CDT. The game is on Comcast Sportsnet Chicago PLUS, which means it would normally show up on a RSN-Alt channel. I can find the SD version of the game for tonight, but the game is produced in HD on CSN-Plus....in fact ALL Cubs games this year are made in HD....

Problem is I can't find the HD listing for the game tonight so I won't be able to DVR it. It is possible that E* would only offer "some" of the RSN-alternative channels in HD? Previously this year I have found the Alt-RSN in HD...

Anyone know where on E* I can find CSN-Plus in HD and not just the down-converted form in SD?

Interestingly, the answer that the CSR had told me to tune to channel 5085, which is WGN9 in HD. 2 problems with that...
1. I can't tune in to 5085.
2. The game isn't on WGN tonight...

But maybe sheds hope that WGN9 will be in HD soon on 5085? The CSR couldn't figure out at first why I wasn't getting that channel....:confused:

E* has the Rockies feed in HD on 5414 (414 HD) which is Fox Rocky Mountain channel, unfortunately, you probably won't be able to get it there, just as I cannot get it here.

CSR is wrong, 5085 is uplinked on 61.5 sat location but is not available.

the csr's guess half the time, i truly believe that now...i would love for them to get wgn in hd for obvious reasons. (look at my avatar) however, living in colorado now i get to watch the games. once my hd is installed on sat i loose wgn sd because im getting at100 w/ultimate and locals. all i can afford right now and still go hd. needless to say, im going to be missing alot of games.

It is my understanding Directv also is not showing in HD the CSN Chicago + games.

It appears the CSN Chicago + games are only shown in HD on Chicago Comcast Cable.

I'm watching the White Sox - Yankees game. Hawk Harrelson just said Directv is showing the Cubs game in HD. Once again Directv has something in HD that Dish doesn't have.

That's not true. On the day that the Cubs game was on CSN Chicago+, the announcer, Len, mentioned to see it in HD you would go to channel ? on DirectTV, he also gave the channel for cable Comcast people too.

Indeed, CSN + is available on DirecTv channel 668-1
