Hello everyone. This is my first post. I have a general question regarding Distant Network Packages. My permanent (billing) address is within the New York City DMA (NJ). I have two receivers at my house and an additional reciever I bring to what you can call a "trailer park". The state classifies my trailer as a Recreational Vehicle and it has a registration. According to the DISH website, I would need a registration to allow me to get Distant Network Packages. In this case, I would want to get Los Angeles locals. Is this possible for me to do? I'd like to have more viewing options especially when I am at the trailer because the signal from the nearest market is terrible.

Thanks
Scott

Scottie,

Hi and welcome to DBSTalk.Com :hi:
It's a pleasure to have you here.

I believe you can get the Los Angeles locals if that is the package you want. Someone I'm sure will ring in here and verify this.

I'm a rv'er and when I qualified I had to provide Dish with a copy of a current rv registration, and I was allowed to pick which distant network package I wanted,.

You can download a form from Dish. You attach a copy of your rv registration to the form and mail it back to them. It will take about two weeks to get their approval. You can go to their web site and check when they approve your request.
