I happened to flip to WHYY 12 (PBS) today evening. They were airing the movie "Manhattan" some Woody Allen movie. WHYY airs movies Saturday night and commercial free.

When I turned it on I quickly saw a scene where Diane Keaton used the F word.

Answered my own question: Its acceptable for R rated content after 10pm.

No, I don't believe that broadcast stations are restricted from airing content like that. I think they do have to air it when kids are not likely to be watching (i.e. after 9:00 pm). ABC showed Saving Private Ryan uncut several months ago.
