Is there any possibility of ever seeing HBO Zone or the numerous missing Cinemax channels on DISH?

Within the last month, 5StarMAX and ActionMAX were added to the Cinemax package, so don't look for any more additions to Cinemax in the near future.

As for HBO Zone, it's possible that E* adds this in order to compete with digital cable (which usually carries every channel that a movie package offers). However, with the limited bandwidth and concern for more locals DMAs being added, we probably won't see HBO Zone anytime soon. Hey, but ya never know. :)

Your best bet is to nag E* for the channels and let them know that there is a demand for them.

E* has plenty of room on 110 atm to add these channels. But, they may be saving the bandwith up for other things like HDTV etc.

I've personally stopped subbing premium channels. My money is better spent on DVD's that I can watch over and over when I want, and I am guaranteed to get them in DTS 5.1 or DD5.1 sound.

I wouldn't expect anymore premium channel additions at least until the next price increase.

To be able to rent an unlimited amount of DVD's for $20 a month thats a heck of a deal compared to a few premium movie channels in a way in that you always have an assortment and latest releases but with the movie channels its always there just to turn on without hassling with the mail waiting for the DVD's and sending them back off through the mail and everything.

I would say after an increase in the premium movie packages we would see some of those additional channels. I figured they would make available all of their channels they have under the deal.
