Cable pricing fight rages
If you've ever seen the Three Stooges, you already know the script about cable rate increases.
Channels raise prices operators pay for programming. Operators then increase consumer fees. And consumers just get angry.
But programmers and operators -- Moe and Larry -- now are squaring off to smack each other in what could be a nasty fight over costs. And the pain for both might be long lasting, even though it probably won't lower prices for consumers.
