For some reason two HD stations, TNT and HBO East are not coming in on a MFH2 system. So far it is only one customer that I know of not the entire building. They are both receiving searching for sat error messages.

The only correlation between the two stations is they were both MPEG-2 stations previously received on the MFH1 system at this building. Has anyone else expierenced this problem? It could just be a low signal I assume but based on the transponders and what channels they were I was wondering if it was somehow related to the MPEG-2 stations. I tried both the old stations, 74 and 501, along with the new stations 245 and 509.

This board has been dead so I figured I'd throw a question out to get some life going.

These channels are also beamed from 110ºW. But then so are SHO-East, ESPN-HD, Universal HD, HD Theater and HD Net. Any problems with those channels?

Another peculiar issue that has been reported is that the Amp ie SA-6A/SA-6AL or sometimes the power inserter ie PI-6S may go BAD and affect only one channel.

The 110 satellite in some fashion is the problem. A tech will have to come out and check the chain of signal from Dish/Dishes thru PI - Amp - Disribution all the way to individual receiver to see where the breakdown is. Tedious but a thorough evaluation of the signal chain should reveal an answer.

You didn't mention what type of receiver was having the problem, but if I recall correctly, I think some of the H20 receivers are having trouble with the 110 satellite.

Specifically, I think it was the H20-600 with the problem.

I believe it is an HR20 receiver.
