I love Baseball and was wondering if anyone in here has bought the MLB package in the past and how much you enjoyed it..... I love the Braves but would like to see some other teams..... Will the Yankees or Mets be on there quite a bit...... What about those west coast teams?????
Any help is appreciated......
Yankees and Metz, yes
West Coast Teams, Yes.
Other teams, Yes.
Wednesday Night Games, No.
Sunday Night Games, No.
Saturday Afternoon Games from July on, No.
Still much better than nothing, Yes.
I love the MLB package, for the Mets you will get about 100 games if you have on top of it WTBS and WGN, the big frustration I have, is the Wednesday blackouts and all the other blackouts that John H. listed, the other problem I have is that Directv does not even put up a schedule of games untill about 2 weeks after the season starts, and last year it only gave you about 2 months at a time. Anyway, you should purchase the package I really do enjoy it.
Regards, Mike.

100 games of the Mets would be fun.... I hate them and the Yankees..... I love those West Coast teams.... I like Mariners and the A's...... I think I will purchase the package and charge it to my ole lady's credit card......
Keith, there's a way to figure out if a game will be on EI. One or both teams have to be televising on a cable channel. If both sides are televising on an OTA channel; then it's no dice. (Except with the M's, Brewers, and Twins; there's some weird affiliate sharing going on with them and Fox Sports North and Northwest).
So here's a quick example:
Dbax (FoxAZ) vs Dodgers (FSW2) yes
Dbax (ch. 3) vs Dodgers (FSW2) yes
Dbax (FoxAZ) vs Dodgers (UPN13) yes
Dbax (ch. 3) vs Dodgers (UPN13) no dice

Okay..... So all the Yankees and Mets games will be on or should I say most since the Wed games are not shown...... I guess ESPN shows all the Wed games.....
Sounds like a good deal...... Thanks.....

Correct ESPN shows all wednesday night games...(No outside of market games after 5PM).....Fox has ALL Saturday afternoon games after Memorial Day (No games can be aired out of market before 7pm)......Also ESPN has sunday night games exclusive which is no big deal until later on in the season when its hot in Texas and So. Cal.....they may play on Sunday Night and those games may NOT be received out of market unless they are on ESPN.
