Hooking up 6000 to 61 and 148 sats only

I am currently running my model 6000 thru a sw21 switch to the 61 and 148 satellites, for the cbs east and west feeds. Will this hurt any thing? My guide shows 2 of every thing else.

Don,

No that will not hurt anything. The only disadvantage (as you have already found) is that you will see duplicate listings.

When new software is spooled it is spooled from the "side" satellites as well as from the "main" slot so you will get all your updates.
