Here is a first for me.
A notice popped up that said my remote batteries need replaced. SO I decided to replace them with energizer rechargeable batteries.
The batteries don't fit. It seems they are a little bit larger in diameter than a non-rechargeable AA battery and as a result unless I force them into the battery compartment they won't fit.
Anyone else have a problem like this? I suspect I need to call Energizer.........and complain.

Mine go in pretty snug. But I have used both rechargeable and non with no issues other having to slap it pretty good in my hand to get them out.
Cant use Duracells they fit to tight & this makes the R 64R not work all the time unless you shake it to make the Duracells move a bit , no prob. with other Batterys :(

The rechargeables fit tight, really tight. You have to "beat" the remote to get them out. The way things go for me...........one beat too many.......dead remote. I tried several different brands of non-rechargeable and they all fit fine.

I have the same issues as others have stated. My rechargeables and name brand batteries don't seem to fit well...cheap batteries from the dollar store work perfect.

your experience is common, there are certain batteries that do not fit, and it seems to vary from remote to remote. I suspect that we have 2 different manufactorers and one has the tolerances off a bit.
