Apparently, if you ask sales, they tell you that the ETF is waived if you move and your new home has no LOS. But, customer service tells you the opposite.

From my own personal experience, if you press the issue they will release you from the contract. According to the contract though, no, you will not be released from the contract due to no LOS. However, considering that's not exactly top priority in choosing your next residence and if you are physically unable to get the service at a location it's ridiculous for them to keep you in the contract or make you pay a term fee.
You may have to go up the ladder to supervisors, retention or higher, but you can get it waived.

On the other hand, DishNetwork *WILL* charge you, and in nearly every case, it won't be waived. The ETF is prorated, though.
