Sorry guys, I'm sure this has been asked before, and I searched here and on the Directv website, and couldn't find anything, although my guess is you can't. A co-worker who can't part with NFL ST wants to go to Dish since we will have locals in a week. I think a lot of people in our area will be contemplating their sat provider when Fort Myers goes live, if they don't care about ST or can still get it without a basic package.
Thanks.

My first thought is no that you have to at least have a base pack....but I may be wrong.

I'm not sure, but if I were a bettin' man, your area in FL will be one of 50 new locals D* plans to have on line by the year's end.
They could always try CSR Roulette, as they are currently D* subs, they may find a CSR that will allow them to do it. Doesn't hurt to ask.
I was able to sub to a basic plan @ $7.99/mo they call DirecTV Limited. This provided the PPV's, shopping channels, some religeous channels, the CSPAN's and public access channels.

We don't know the details of the latest DirecTV/NFL Sunday Ticket contract.
However, NFL Sunday Ticket was available as a standalone package prior to this year.
I would also like to mention that, as karl_f said, it is entirely possible Ft. Myers will be available on DirecTV by the end of the year.

The NFL has always required NFLST to ba available a la carte. I doubt they change their policy.
If you already own your equipment and have no current obligation to Directv, NFLST is available all by itself.
If you are a new sub who got cheap/free equipment & installation and are under the 1-year contract you have to keep what you signed up with for the term of the contract.
