active outputs

Are all h20 outputs active at the same time. I would like to feed two tvs the same shows at the same time.

Yes all A/V outputs are active at the same time.

When using a resolution higher than 480i (meaning 480p, 720p, or 1080i) and using the S-Video or composite video output it will down-convert the program automatically when leaving the output.

Just for the s video or composite connections right? Will the component still be out put at the hd res?

Yes component and HDMI will still output the correct resolution and it will even if you are also outputting S-Video or composite video.
