View Full Version : CSR told me Dish HD only package not available due to leased equipment
Sorry if I missed the fine print but I just got off the phone with a CSR rep and she told me I can not sign up for the Dish HD only package. I was prepared to dump all my SD content but she told me I could not sign up because I am currently in a 'promotion' with the leased 622. What? She said it is only available to me if I owned the 622 and was not in a promotion. Can you guys confirm this? :nono2:

How long ago did you get the 622? CSR maybe talking about minimum level of Service, while under the promotion package. After 12-18 months period ends, depending on when you started with the 622, it shouldn't be a problem.

I have a leased 622 and a leased 612. The 622 commitment ended last Oct.; but the 612 commitment has over a year to go. Just switched to the HD only package, when NY locals went spot beam.
I'm not sure; but I would at least try another CSR.
I called back and this csr signed me up without issues. FYI I have had the 622 from day one of their release. If anyone else has this issue just call back.

Now this is the thang right here that bothers me bout their csr's.........you can call them 5 different times and get FIVE different answers.
