OK so I am in a ATT MDU.
I sent in an email to ATT sunday to ask about activating On demand and also ask why I still being charged for the HD package when DTV moved a lot of the channels to a different package back in Feb. Well the response I got?
They disconnected my service. My Hr-20-700 stopped working. no channels no DVR. Eventually by the end of the day I got channels back, however I have no way to get my DVR back. ATT has no idea how to reactivate it.
the error message is "dvr service is not activated on your account. To activate call 1800 directv or visit directv.com".
I cant really call dtv since Im not a sub and ATT is horrible.
Basically they just rolled out uverse in the building and won't upgrade to mhf-2 for HD and give horrible customer service like the above so people so it makes UVERSE look awesome.
Anyway. Any ideas on how to make the DVR recognize that is has an active subscription for DVR service. ATT is claiming they have it active on their side and they have no idea why my hr-20-700 is not recognizing it.
