I am a DirecTV installer subcontractor, and if we don't have our own insurance, our company takes out a nice chunk automatically. Can you other installers give me some info on the best places to get our own insurance? Thanks.

I just went to a local insurance company and they ran me through a company called Acuity and i pay something like $235/yr but that is with me being the only employee with a $2 million aggregate policy.

when you start adding employees is when it gets expensive, not to mention workers comp.
