How reliable are 2 Zinwell WB68 with Skywalker splits in providing more outputs? I have read on some posts that the WB68 tend to blow out often. Can someone using this method successfully without any problems please contact me with their exact configuation so that I can mirror it. I would go the SWM or WB616 route but if I can use my other WB68 to do the samething, why not.

4 Skywalker 2-ways feeding 2 WB68s should be fine. I've never heard of a problem.

I was thinking of expending with my 2 WB68s a few months back but got put off by a thread I read where people experienced problems with the 2 MB68 setup. Wish I could remember which thread it was. I will give it a try and see if it works out for me. Thanks for your input gents.

they were probably cascading them instead of running them in parrallel

Some [installers] just hate the WB68 and will only use the powered WB616.

Who flips the bill if the installer comes out and sees he needs to put in a WB616?

"sometimes" the installers provde them. i would have to say you have a 1 in 4 shot to get one. i know that the hsp around here has them

You just jogged my memory. I distintively remember the thread discussing how cascading them would bring more headaches and recommended going with parrallel. I just wanted to know which configuation would be best since I couldn't remember what method was recommended.

you will be fine in parrallel. just get 4 power passing wide band splitters. as mentioned.... skywalker splitters are pretty popular

I used to have mine connected parallel. I took a lightning strike at the house that wiped out both WB68s and the power passing splitters. Although it worked great until that storm.
