Mike Piazza,one of the greatest hitting catchers in MLB history,announced his retirement today.He is one of eight catchers in MLB history to have a season with a batting average of .300 or better,30 HRs and 100 RBIs or more.He accomplished this six times during his career.Piazza ends his career with a .308 BA,427 HRs and 1,335 RBIs.More info at the following link.
