View Full Version : Strange 721 audio behavior

For years, I've fed Sirius audio on my 721 to a wireless transmitter to listen to music in the house. Within the last two weeks, the audio goes into a "mute" state (without actually showing "mute" on the screen) after a few hours.
Just changing the channel - for instance up one and then back to the original brings it back for another few hours. I'm hoping there's a logical answer to this phenomenon, but it sure escapes me.
Any ideas out there?

this is probably the error 505 that 721 owners are getting recently.
It has something to do with the data stream not your receiver but rather all 721s and the data stream.
however today I have not noticed this problem, it could have been fixed or just not showing up at the moment.

I appreciate your response. I guess the thing to do is just wait and see if they sort it out. I always hate it when software is "improved" to where it looses functionality.

To complete this topic, the bad behavior of the audio shutting down was reversed by itself after about a week. Go figure!
