Delete Channels ?

Hi,
I'm new to the forums & satellite television world.
I have DirecTV's D12 receiver and I was wondering if it's possible to delete channel's on this box?
For example, I don't want my box to display all channels that I haven't purchased yet. I want to get rid of those channels. Same as with some To Be Announced channels....

Any ideas on how to get rid of these channels?

You should be able to setup a custom/favorite guide with just the channels you want.
