Upgrade Software for HR10-250?

There are some sites that offer a disc that upgrades the software to allow more features such as caller-id, internet, etc., on the HR10-250. Anoyone know how the disc works (meaning how does the info on the disc get onto the HR10)?

You have to pull the hd and put in your computer. All the stuff on the various disks can be had for free if you look around.
