Upconversion of Survivor Amazon?

Does wcbs upconvert Survivor Amazon?, the east coast feed was much sharper that the kcbs feed last week.

CBS in New York upconverts all SD programming to send out to the CBS stations around the country - none of the upconversion is done at the local station level anymore. If the KCBS feed wasn't as sharp as the WCBS feed last week, then I'd say that there must have been a problem at KCBS.
