Hello!
I just bought an Acutrac22 MkII Pro device and just notice what seems to be a problem with it....

Whenever I choose to have audio output the tone is always constant... it never rises up when I get some signal.... the highest value I've been able to get is 51 in the graphic bar of the Finder and in my satellite receiver it shows about 85 in most of the TP...

The pitch tone output in the finder is constant its always the same at 0 as when I'm at 51 (which is the higher reading I always get).. I don't know if it will vary the output if I get near 85 or 90 but as I said, the best I can get is 51. My Satellite receiver is very happy with that value because it shows very good signal.. (I suppose it uses other method of measuring the signal) because of the different values between the Receiver and the finder.

I would like to know if this is how the audible speaker of the acutrac works because in my cheap old finder I could really notice the tone rising whenever I got better signals...

Thank you for any help
Frank

PS. Excuse me for any spelling mistake but I don't speak english very well..

1. What type of dish are you trying to align?

2. Do you have the dish connected to both lnb input ports on the meter? If you are only using one cable, are you connecting it to the lnb2 input?

If you are aiming a single lnb dish or are using only one input to aim the 3lnb or 5lnb dish, it is possible that the tone is from the input that you aren't using. If you are using both inputs to aim a 3lnb or 5lnb dish, the tone should rise with the signal. If not, it may be faulty.
