Ultimate TV problem

Recently my Ultimate TV had a momemtary loss of pic and audio. Similar to a rainy day, but no rain. I tried switching between the two tuners and both are affected. Tried hard reboot.. no luck. The outage is for only a few seconds and happens 2 or 3 times an evening. No multi switch is used and my other RCA receiver does not have this problem. Bad receiver?? Any ideas?

Excessive heat?? Where do you have your UTV?

I'm guessing excessive heat as well. If your UTV is in an enclosed area, you need to move it. I have mine on top of my DVD/VCR combo on some 1" pieces of PVC pipe. I'll post a picture when I get home from work. That took care of all heat realted problems.

Here's a picture of mine lifted 1" above the DVD/VCR combo. It is really easy, just cut 4 1" pieces of sprinkler pipe and spray paint it dark gray or black. Works like a charm.
