Anyone see the new CBS comedy?

In my opinion its awful.
-Tula in the movie went to finish school and start a career.

In the TV show, Nia (they changed name to her real life name) , continues to work at the restaurant. The charm the movie had isnt there in the show. They add those fake laughs after every line, which is very annoying. It hurts the movie's popularity when the sitcom is boring and poorly written.

Yes, its doing good in ratings (its first two episodes), but I think its just people checking to see how the show is. The curiosity will fade. Maybe its too soon for me to comment? But I dont expect anything much out of it. The family is funny, maybe they should have done a spinoff of the movie about the family, so its not a show about Nia. The show could have been done better possibly under different direction or perspective as it had/has potential.

I don't think the TV show is all that bad. Yes, it doesn't have the charm of the movie but what TV show made from a movie does (remember how they butchered Clueless? Ug!).

I think "Greek Life" has potential. The family members are funny. I think it's off to a great start especially since they got all but one original cast member from the movie.
