Hello all!

I have a question for everybody. I want to upgrade to Dish 500, mainly just for the ability to get my local channels. I currently have the regular Dish Network setup with the model 4500 receiver. It has the capability to receive both satellites as there is a dish 500 check box in the signal set up. Here is what I need to know. I won on ebay a dish 500 dish (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=32844&item=3010273 225&rd=1)but it does not have the LNB. Can I use my current LNB? The LNB I have you can hook up two receivers. My thinking is that I can use my LNB and use the sw-21 switch. Will that work??

Thanks in advance!!

What you need is one more LNB or a legacy twin, as a 4900 is not DishPro compatible without an adapter. If you get another LNB, you can use a 21 switch to combine the 2, and that will work

Buy another Dual LNB and an SW21 for each receiver (max of 2 can be done this way). www.dishdepot.com has these available.

That sounds like a great deal. Charlie should say something about that during the next chat.

Actually you have to sign up for AT150 for one year with CC Autopay. This is because they get more money from you, and all of the extra 50 channels are on the 110 satellite.
