Sudden reboot at start of PPV - HR20-700

I ordered a WWE event via the web at was just watching it begin on Channel 97, when suddenly the unit resets itself. I've never had that happen in 20 months of use. All is fine, now...weird. :whatdidid

P.S. Please don't start the WWE/wrestling bashing.

I had a random reboot today at 5pm also before dodgers mets on espn. Unit locked up on friday morning too. 2 reboots in 3 days...i hope this isnt some ominous new trend.

Exact Same reboot. My wife also had it reboot yesterday while watching her Soaps. I hope DirecTV isn't sending random reboots for some reason. The fact your reboot occurred exactly when mine did eases my mind it's not my DVR going bad.

A few weeks ago I got the Cutting Edge release that was around then. I had a reboot in the middle of an important soccer game, and I can't have that, so I immediately reverted to the national release. There were a few others that reported in the issues thread random reboots with it. I guess the reports weren't big enough because guess what the national release is now? The very same one with the reboots.

oh, and i got one today right at 8:01 PM EDT while watching a recording.

Our other HR20 didn't reboot, but I'm relieved to see others had it happen. The time was 7:01 pm CST, I believe.

7:06 Central my HR20-700 just rebooted. I was watching the 30 Days marathon on Fox Reality.

rebooted here...missed 10 minutes of House because it still takes 10 minutes to reboot this thing. HR20-100. Weak.
