Equipment upgrade promo

I just called dish network and was told about an upgrade promo starting today. It sounded like the previous upgrade they offered when the 501 was new.
The CS rep said I could choose a 301 or a 501. I asked about the 508 and was told only 501's were in this promo.
I have a 501 from previous promo and have been told I didn't qualify for anymore promos. This seems like a new one.
Commit to AT100 for 12 months and the 501 is $199. Add credit card autopay and they ship it to you free. She said you don't have to commit to cc autopay but you'll have to pay shipping.
I guess they are trying to flush out the 501's on existing customers so only 508's will be available from then on.

Sounds more like that CSR need to go back to training. The Promo starting today is the same PVR upgrade they have been running. The only difference is they changed the programming package to AT-100 or AT-150.

There is a difference in this one. The fine print on their web page states 2 per houshold. The old promo only let you get 1 per houshold.

Wow a $240 cancellation fee for dropping down from AT 100 or canceling service.

Thats quite a profit on something they are only discounting $100.

I am waiting on a deal for Dishplayer owners.
