When I first came onboard with Dish, I got the 622 and I used TV2 for a small set in my home office. Now that office is reverting back to a bedroom, and I'm having too many conflicts between the occupant wanting to view programs while I'm trying to record. So I would like to put a receiver in there and run my 622 in single mode. I also want to do this on the cheap so my question is about installation. Is it just a matter of runnig a line from the switch (DP44) to the new receiver? The exising cable running from the back of the 622 will reach the switch if I pull it back into the attic. TIA!

Correct.
After you make the connection, just run switch-check.
