SF Bay Area Network Outage?

Or is it just me? I'm actually located in the South Bay - San Jose area. The funny thing is I have pre-programmed Masters of Horror to record at 8:00 PM and it's recording right now. I can watch the program via DVR but get nothing if I go to Live mode. What gives?

I had no problems last night or this morning and I'm sure we use the same satellites for programming.

Called AT&T Dish and they scheduled a service technician to come out and take a look at the problem. I think the dish to my complex (I live in a condominium/townhouse) is either out of alignment or there a problem with wiring.

The sucky part is this is going to cost me $49 just to have them come out and do a service check. Not a happy boy at the moment. I wonder if I can get away with having AT&T Dish absorb the fee if the problem is not my equipment but theirs.

Any suggestion on how I should approach this with AT&T Dish?
