No Phone Line No PPV

Whats the deal here? It was working before and now customer service says it cannot be done without a phone line to ensure I am charged correctly. It is hooked up via internet!

You got the wrong CSR.

Worst case scenario - order the PPV via the website. N/C.

PPV's can definitely be ordered with a network connection only...

I had this same problem, and it took a service call to figure it out.

When you call in, make sure the CSR enables your DVR for PPV via Phone. If they found out you had no phone line, they shut that option off. PPV via Phone also enables the IP-PPV purchases.

Trust me, it will fix your problem.

I will call again they told me they would unable it becuase I have no phone line. I figured it was becuase I had the wrong CSR. They guy was a goof ball lol!

A little plus!

Once they get your account sorted... when you order on line ALL receivers get the PPV selection. Order by phone line with a remote and the specific receiver ONLY plays the selection.

The CSR who told you you needed a phone line was a kiss ass. DTV gets paid for the results of watching (and telling) what you( not you but your results get added) ........ watch.

I guess I should keep callin! Not my favorite phone call to make and its 50/50 you get someone who knows whats going on with ordering. All I know is they are losing business becuase of it. Several times I just downloaded them to the xbox and watched the movie there. Sometimes I will order a fight spur of the moment and getting online is too hard!!! :hurah:
