Is there a way of listing all HD movies available on the guide?

I want to be able to list all HD movies that are on the program guide in order to choose the ones I want to record. Is there a way of doing that?

Yes. But the guide data is not reliable. All TNT and TBS show as HD and many on premium channels that are HD don't list as HD.

There are several ways.

Try HDTV as a key word and select Movies/All as the category.

This will give you everything, including VOD. So, you can try

HDTV NNOT VOD for the keyword phrase with Movies/All as the category. Pretty sure the NNOT made it to a national release. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

also, from the guide, hit the yellow button, select 'sort by category,' and select 'hi-def.' this will show you your hd recordings and all hd content (well, flagged as hd, anyway) from the currently selected favorites channels list. seems to work well.

Actually, I do it this way...

I have a favorites list that is the HD channels and then double hit the guide button and select movie and event channels. Not perfect but the HD notation in the guide data is not perfect either.
