PVR 721 and the weather channel

I just installed my 721 and besides the fact that it took a day to get most of my subscribed channels downloaded, I have a couple of questions.

1. Instant weather used to be on 9500. I don't have it in my guide. Did it go somewhere else? Is there another way of viewing the weather? What can I do to get it back/restore it?

2. Any idea when the new software upgrade L1.10 will be released?

721 doesn't have weather yet. You'll notice it's greyed out in the menu. If you read the L1.10 thread you'll see weather is due to be enabled in that release.

Hit <Menu> then selective "Interactive" from the purple drop down menu......

You'll see "Games" and "Weather" (which is greyed out).

Software version L1.10 is scheduled to activate this fature.

Yes L1.10 will have the weather feature, note it's note the OpenTV Weather feature, this Weather is custom written for the 721 (Which means its a lot faster then the OpenTV version) :D

I have been playing with the weather for the last month and it works well!

Kind of like the dishplayer in how it gets the weather and news information fast. That is a nice feature on the dishplayer being able to go to a certain channel to get that info. I wish they would do the same for the 501/508 and 721 receivers just as they did with the dishplayer.
