I just had D*(HR21-200) installed yesterday and I need to know what I need to view my Local HD channels, can I record them on my DVR? Please!

Assuming your install was done correctly and your locals are available in HD, you're good to go. Press Record on a program you want to record (on your local channels or otherwise) and it will be done.

My locals are not offered in HD from D* so they are OTA...where do I get a AM21? and what do I need for the roof?

The AM21 is available either by calling DirecTV or ordering it on the website. You will have to create an account if you haven't already and log in and it will be under "Kits and Equipment." You will also need an off air antenna. Check antennaweb.org or tvfool.com for what type of antenna you will need to buy based on your location.

If your HD locals are not available via satellite from DirecTV, I would make a case for a free AM21. Just thinkin'. ;)
