lost all mpeg4 channels

I lost all of the new channels. HD locals, big ten HD, etc..They are just black screens. Some have sound but no picture. Is there a bigger problem, or is it just me? what should I try?

First step .... reset your DVR.

Do you have other Receivers? Do they also have this problem?

If that doesn't help, check your signal readings on 99 and 103º and post back your results.

I don't know if signal readings would particularly help in this instance...

Usually when a sound/no picture problem happens its something that can be fixed by doing something that makes the receiver re-recognize its authorizations (i.e. reset or resending auths on the D* website)

It could need a refresh, but if the sat signals are low, it's more likely a localized issue. Those will be good to know first.

Reboot seemed to solve it.
