I currently have a 2 receiver setup. It is fed from two dishes that go into two sw21's. Is there any way to hook up a third line (for the PVR921) with another SW21? or do I have to bite the bullet and buy a different switch? Thanks

You must buy a different switch - in your case, either the SW44 or the SW64.
Or, you could replace your 2 Dual LNB's with a Legacy QUAD LNB.

Are those 2 separate dishes for 119 and 110? Or do you get 119/110 from a Dish500 (let us know which version (http://ekb.dbstalk.com/82)) and have a second dish for 61.5 or 148?

Boba, I have a dish 500 for 119 and 110, which I got installed last spring and a second dish for 61.5 which got installed last summer. I'm almost positive the 500 is a twin LNB. Too dark to see right now.

Who says you need to go outside ? Just run a "Check Switch Test" from your receiver menus.

It's definetly a twin LNB.

Ok - by TWIN LNB, we mean a single piece that is about 4 - 6 inches with 2 outputs. This TWIN LNB also does NOT have the "DP" (DishPro) logo.
If this is what you actually have, then to add any receivers beyond your current 2, you will have to replace your TWIN with something else, both LNB and switch.
Options available -
#1 - Replace your Legacy TWIN with a Legacy QUAD, then use the SW21 to 61.5/ 148 (for HDTV)
#2 - Replace your TWIN with 2 DUAL LNB's and a SW44 or SW64 (SW64 preferred here, again for the sideslot)
#3 - Replace your Legacy TWIN with a DISHPRO TWIN, and use a DISHPRO Single for the side slot, and use a DP34 switch to combine them all
