Has anybody in Michigan had an install done by this company? How were there installers? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Over the past 3 years, I have had them out for the original installation and also when I update to a slimline dish and new HR21. They were very good about calling if they were delayed and giving up to date information. Also were good about doing the job correctly. I would suggest calling them to confirm your appointment. Compared with some other installation companies in other parts of the country. and some of the stories on this site,....I think we are lucky to have them :)

I just moved to the Brighton area and had them do an install for me.
The tech I had was VERY knowledgeable.
Good install, all signals in the mid to high 90's.

They did my upgrade last summer. Two guys, on time, good work. I was pleasantly surprised!

Did my install last fall, two installers. Did great work, took care of a CSR issue. Very satisfied.

The biggest problem I had with Michigan Microtech was getting them to show up when they said they would. I can think of about 5 or 6 scheduled appointments with them and they were on time once. I did get credits, movie channels, free dvr, etc., out of it, but I also used up a lot of vacation time. They did the movers thing, installed two dvr's, added a second dish for my locals, and recently upgraded me to HD in case you're wondering why so many appointments. I wish the guy had asked a couple questions before he mounted my slimline, but he didn't. The installs all seem to be okay other than one cable end that I recently noticed is loose because I had to move my dvr. I'll just get out my crimpers one of these days and fix that. They are good about calling you, but a couple times I had early am appointments and they kept calling until about 7pm to tell me they were still coming and finally said they'd have to reschedule about 2 weeks down the road. I guess it could be worse, but it was no picnic for me.
