I read about this feature being tested by Dish. DirecTV has it already. Do we know if and when it will be available to Dish users?

No official date has been given. There was a field test a while back that a number of members here participated in but other than that there has not been any dates given.

No news at all. There has been no communication with the testers since the first trial tanked (OK... 'tanked' is my opinion.). On the other side of that coin, I've not tried pinging my contacts from back then, either.
