Just Curious.......?

I just sold my DishPlayer on EBay and while it was listed I had 3-4 potential bidders EMail me wanting me to give them either/or, or both, the Number of the Card and Revision Number listed on screen if it is hooked up and you pull up System Information. A couple of them wanted me to know that this was all on the up and up - BUT - I was and am still skeptical?? I was wondering IF they just wanted the # of my Card because I listed it as PAID UP. Can they then call DISH and use "my" # to open an account or what??

I was fortunate - I had already boxed everything up and just told them that and left it at that BUT still wondering what's going on - amnyone here know???

Give them the card number that is ok (they are checking for a balance)

But dont give them the revision number, that means they want to hack. :)
