HR21-600

Bestbuy has an HR21-600 as their HDDVR.
Couple of questions:
First is that model number correct and second how does it compare to the HR20-700 of which I have?

It is not a -600. It is either a -700, -200, or -100. For some reason Best Buy always labels them wrong.

The only differences is the HR21 is black and the HR20 is silver. The HR20 has built in OTA tuners and the HR21 needs an add on unit (AM21) for OTA's tuners.

The HR21 has a 2nd ethernet connection that can be used to connect a 2nd device to a network and internet.

Other than that they both function the same and have the same features.

Theres another thread about the Best Buy model number so I wont keep that going.

Comparing it to the HR20-700....they are both functionally the same with one exception. The HR21 needs something call the AM21 to receive OTA broadcasts and the HR20 has that capability built in.
