Dunno whether this belongs here or the sports section, but the (cough)goofball!(/cough) Royals Television Network might become available on Dish this season.

David Witty, Royals vice president of broadcasting and media services, reports that negotiations with several other companies have picked up recently.
"We're having more meetings this week with Cox and Comcast and the Dish Network," Witty said. "We don't have anything definite, but we're optimistic something will get done. As the season approaches, the intensity level of the negotiations is picking up."
